Sign In Solutions Welcomes Shauna Armitage as Chief of Staff

Armitage brings extensive experience helping organizations strategically navigate growth and transformation.

St. Petersburg, FL (April 4, 2023) – Sign In Solutions, a global provider of cloud-based visitor management and risk mitigation software, has welcomed Shauna Armitage as Chief of Staff. Armitage brings significant executive leadership experience, with a track record of helping complex organizations achieve their business goals through innovative processes and strategies. She will sit in the company’s St. Petersburg, Florida, headquarters.

Armitage joins Sign in Solutions during a critical stage of growth. Launched in 2021 with funding from PSG, the company has made six strategic acquisitions in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Denmark within an 18-month period. Through its VM 2.0 platform, Sign In Solutions aims to deliver the next generation of workplace technology solutions by equipping organizations with tools to provide a more secure, seamless and confident workplace.

As Chief of Staff, Armitage will focus on developing, systematizing and implementing processes and initiatives that support Sign In Solutions’ investment strategy and future growth. She will also help consistently execute the vision of its VM 2.0 platform across its various business units, while maintaining strong communication and transparency between leadership, team members and external stakeholders.

Most recently, Armitage managed her own business and executive consultancy, where she worked with emerging and highly regulated industries. Her services included advising leadership teams in everything from establishing governance structures to streamlining processes to compliance and quality management. She is also experienced in positioning and repositioning organizations for relevance, growth and competitive edge.

Before launching her consultancy, Armitage had a distinguished career in the health and human services industry with a focus on children and families. For over a decade she worked with Orlando-based Children’s Home Society of Florida, where as Senior Director of Strategic Innovation she led initiatives to enhance customer experience, staff efficiency and work environment. She then went on to serve as Chief Transformation & Innovation Officer for Jackson, Mississippi-based Canopy Children’s Solutions where she implemented industry-leading technology, cultivated cross-sector partnerships and established the organization’s first international innovation team.

Armitage earned a Master’s of Science in Project Management & Network Communications Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management at Devry University. She also holds undergraduate degrees in Network Communications Management and Network Systems Administration.
